National Ice Hockey League – Winter 2022-23

With the Summer League finals right around the corner, we are eager to announce registrations for the Winter season! Registrations are already open and can be found here:

The League will be running a 23-games season, with Finals played on 12 February, right before the commence of Lion City Cup Tournament. Games will be played at The Rink@JCube with the following format:

3 Divisions 

Division 1/3: 15 Regular games, 3 Playoffs (BO3), and 1 Final

Division 2: 16 Regular games, 2 Playoffs (Total Goals), and 1 Final

League Fees:
Players: $440
Goalies: $220 

All players signing up for the League must be at least 16 years of age, be current Members of SIHA. Please note that this League will require a new season Membership, which can be signed up together with the league, or here. If you have trouble with your Membership number, you may find it in your emailed which you have registered with us with, with the subject “Registration Confirmation to Singapore Ice Hockey Association”. If you’re new to the league and do not know which division you belong to, we invite you to a try-out on 29 August 2022 (Monday), at 9:45pm for Divisions 2/3, and 10:45pm for Divisions 2/1.

Again, we allow “transfers”, whereby players who are not available for the entirety of the season to transfer his/her slot to another individual in the same division as a replacement. Should this be the case for you, you will be responsible for any monetary procedures between yourselves. This transfer can happen only once, and must inform your respective Division Commissioner, and in writing to

There will be some changes to the rules for those who have been used to playing in the League for several years now. This is in place to be aligned to the updates of the IIHF rule book. League rules will be sent to all Team Managers, and our Referee in Chief, Benjamin Huang, will be conducting a 15 minutes presentation on Draft Night to highlight these rules.

The League is looking for Volunteers as Team Managers. If you’re interested to volunteer as Team Managers, please approach the respective Commissioners in your Division.
