SIHA would like to invite all Singaporean players to attend the SIHA National Hockey Skills Program, which starts on Sunday, 24th April 2016. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
The Hockey Skills Program (HSP) is intended to provide an opportunity for Singaporean players of all ages to have dedicated coaching on individual hockey skills such as power skating, stickhandling and shooting. The program will run thrice weekly (Monday/Thursday/Sunday) in April and May 2016, and once a week (on Sundays) from June onwards.
This complements the National Teams Development Program (NTDP), which will focus on team skills and tactics. Players from the HSP stand a chance of being selected to train with the NTDP.
This year, we are proud to have Rob Martini, former Niagara University (NCAA) defenseman, as our HSP Head Coach. He will lead a team of expatriate and local coaches in running the HSP.
HSP Training Sessions (Apr-May 16):
– Sundays 9.45pm-10.45pm
– Mondays 9.45pm-10.45pm
– Thursdays 9.45pm-10.45pm
